Finding a baby animal alone
We often speak of leaving baby animals exactly where they have been found until we can ascertain that they are orphaned and in need of help. This advice may often seem like an unsympathetic suggestion but it is not the case. Many animals leave their babies in safe locations while they move away to forage.
