Corina gardner

Corina is an extremely avid bird enthusiast and conservationist and spends numerous hours studying and rehabilitating birds, which she finds tremendously rewarding. She is a highly devoted aviculturist and specializes in the hand-rearing of many species of birds, esp. budgerigars, cockatiels, parrots, parakeets, mynahs, and quail.
Corina is also a very dear friend and having known her for many years I can safely say that she has a heart of pure gold! She has unconditionally helped and guided me several times in the past and continues to do so for many others even today.
Corina has been involved with the website ever since it was a mere idea! Thank you, Corina, for your constant encouragement, support and invaluable contributions.

Aarohi Rane
Botanist, Environmentalist and Web Designer

Aarohi Rane

Project Manager at Protecterra Ecological Foundation, Pune, Aarohi has a deep concern for all ecological and environmental problems and strives to alleviate as many as she can. She has also helped with the design of the website www.indiansnakes.org and helps to manage and edit the content for the site.
Fortunately for me, Aarohi is also a web designer and has helped me greatly in the initial stages of coding the website. She has selflessly tweaked all annoying bits that were beyond my understanding and continues to do so every single time I reach out for help. Thank you, Aarohi, couldn’t have done it without you!

Devna Arora
Wildlife Biologist and Rehabilitator
Author and Founder of Rehabber's Den

I think I am one of the lucky few who have been surrounded by animals all my life and have had the opportunity to develop this insatiable passion into a highly fulfilling career. Having worked with innumerable animals of various species across three continents, I am deeply interested in animal behaviour, niche utilization, evolutionary adaptations as well as conservation and welfare issues.
I specialize in the care and rehabilitation of small mammals and birds, esp. urban wildlife like squirrels and various passerine birds, but have also had the opportunity to extensively work with and care for many species of larger animals including various reptiles, raptors, deer, small felids, hyenas, bears, elephants, rhinos and tigers (you know, the small harmless ones!) and many others.
I have also been privileged to work with numerous orphaned puppies and kittens, as and when time has permitted, and counsel pet owners against behavioural problems.
I sincerely hope, through this website, we can influence and enhance the quality of life of many more animals that will be touched by human hands!
