Our Videos
When giving handling/hand-feeding instructions to people, the most common complaint/fear I hear is, “But Devna, I don’t know how to do that! What if I do something wrong?” This is inevitably followed by, “Would you have any videos that we can see?”
I know I have disappointed many of you so far (esp. since we are all communicating over a large distance and I cannot personally demonstrate the techniques) but I hope, to the best of my ability, that we will have a basic set of videos online in the very near future.
Since our videos are primarily intended to be informative or instructional in nature, I will be uploading them with descriptions and links to protocols where relevant. But you will also find occasional videos of the crazy experiences we all go through!
For ease of access and distribution, our videos are all shared on You Tube. Do note, they are uploaded in no particular order; I am simply uploading them as I get the opportunity to.

Tutorials:
Our tutorials are more explanatory and instructive in nature and ideal for those who are seeking visuals on how to handle or feed baby animals.
Birds: Baby birds of different species feed in a different manner. The suitability of the feeding technique will depend largely upon the species in question but also on the individual baby being handled.
Ensure to feed in a gentle and slow manner. Patience is the key here. Your feeding speed must match the intake of the baby. Don’t rush the chicks; let them feed at their pace. It is only weaker babies that feed in a slow manner, while healthier babies feed at a good pace. The objective is to have healthy ‘n strong babies, not to feed at a faster pace. Be patient and handle them gently so they can come up to their normal pace.
